Due to the overwhelming response regarding the energy packs from the lotto, I edited the old lotto post and added the following:
The "energy packs" you "win" are not real energy packs. They are not missing.. the developers have said that the energy packs are simply replacements because "most players are not fortunate enough to receive energy packs from their mafia." So if no one sends you an energy pack for the day, you can use your lottery won energy pack, but only once every 23 hours. Right...

win big prizes? My ass! My mafia always send energy packs as do i to them, i assumed it would be energy on top of what i used on the daily 23 hour limit. Who came up with that idea, I won 3x energy packs, pointless even playing as i cant use them!

Really stupid idea! Anyone who is really into mafia wars will have a lot of people on there mafia and don't worry about getting energy packs at all. You are pretty much screwing over all the people that play most often! Way to go! I have only 70ish people in my mafia and have an energy pack waiting every time after 23 hours!
It doesn't even queue up. I won two packs, my mafia failed to deliver yesterday and the bonus packs didn't even come through...

Sounds like Zynga is bitter that people hacked their lottery and won TONS of Godfather points, so their cheaping out w/ the energy packs... too bad, and pretty much makes winning the packs useless. People who aren't receiving packs from their mafia, probably aren't playing the lotto.
seriously... you guys need to calm down. some of you are acting as if just getting 1 number right means they come to your house and rape you. ITS NOT DIFFICULT TO GET 1 NUMBER RIGHT... SO YOU DONT DESERVE A KICKASS RARE ITEM. And those who are "wasting their time", how long does it take to fill out 1 ticket? maybe 4 seconds?!?! im gonna keep playing because its really not as bad as everyone is making it seem like.
For matching one number, I think you should win a small "+50 or +100 energy" booster pack that you can use anytime you want. Simple, easy, and not too powerful, but at times be VERY useful.
It would act just like going to "The Hospital" does now. If you don't have the money, you can't heal. You don't have an "e-booster lite", you can't use it. However if you wanted to, you could stockpile them, and blast them all out in one sitting, or use them when you need 27 more experience points, you are ready to go to bed, you have zero energy, and just want to level up, not wait until the next day to finish it up.
