Mafia Wars Moscow Job Mastery Rewards & Items; Strategy Guide

While it is supposed to take 24 hours to do each job tier, it's bugged. Often times after logging out for a few hours, you can log back in and the "Get Help" button will work. With that said, here are the current job mastery items for Moscow:

Episode 1: Barsuk SUV: 36 attack, 52 defense



Episode 2: Boss Karpov's Pistol: 50 Attack, 38 Defense


Seems like a lot of work just for a few combat items that are not even that spectacular. As more chapters are released, I will update this page.

  1. I am wondering if the game _can_ get much better. If you do give away super-good items then the newer players will get stomped into the mud and never continue playing. If you don't then the more experienced players will get bored. I have played a few characters in Moscow now and I am getting a little bored while doing the same job over and over to get enough cash to do the next job over and over so that I can do the next...

    I am not complaining. I just see a version of "snow blindness" setting in. The one thing that I am fiddling around with (with interest) is rackets with one of my characters. It is interesting to figure out how to manage them. I don't have any insights yet.

  2. You have to be level 450 before you get exposed to high level players, so I don't think we have to worry about newer players getting stomped into the mud. I made a brand new account 10 weeks ago and I've literally won 99% of my fights so, I don't think we're in danger of that.

    But yeah, all games have a lifespan before the mechanics get boring. However, I think this game, despite pretty much the endless point and click adventure, will have a very long lifespan due to the social aspect of it - people like to do things their friends do!

  3. we're all gifted with some curiosity, we want to see what next level brings and that's what the game makes so effing addicting ;)

    Moscow is fine to me, I think it is unfair to 'wish' total different concepts in the MW.

    The chose for what 'clan' you will join is a nice thing, this way you can exchange loot with the other side in your family

    Being part of a nice group makes the game even more intresting. I am somewhere in middle levl 100 (also 150 or so) and I like the 3 worlds, and most of all the fact that you have to struggle with the energy to get it all settled. It will get even more intresting when we get the other worlds in (8 more to come!!), that is, when you dont buy your luck with credit cards (what should be forbidden LOL)

  7. yeah, I got no screen that said I had a reward, but when I checked my inventory, the items were there.

  8. The 24 hours bug seems to have been fixed. I cannot force the Help to be activated twice per day any longer. Can someone else confirm this?

  12. I've yet to do one job in Moscow. However, I am fighting there and have accumulated more than 20 million rubles. That oughta help when it comes time to buy R$900,000 track suits!

  15. me too! i got the achievement for defeating Dimitri Leonov..and the screen that says i completed Episode 1..but i checked my profile and no SUV!! what a ripoff :((

  18. To me longevity was joining a clan and making new friends. My gripe at the moment is Russia is so bloody expensive !!!! Well I'm a glutton for punishment I'll keep going....Nice site btw keep it going :)

  19. I keep looking for a list of loot items...I'm finishing off underboss & boss in NY. I noticed moscow had cameras and cell phones for the loot drops in first 2 jobs. are there any illegal transaction records or blackmail photo drops?? I'd love to know because i'm not touching moscow until i'm done with NY. (of course i skipped Capo. no point in getting the 5% discount on property repairs) thanks!

  20. I have completed level 2 in Russia butcan't pass the boss. My family has fought him 5 times and he won't die! Whats up with that? And why can't I fight him...only my family.

  22. When I was completing Underboss/Boss in NY I used the Concealable cameras & untraceable cell phone loot drops in Moscow as a way to get loot and get started in Moscow at the same time. I found it was quicker to get the loot I wanted that way, even though the return on exp wasn't as good.

    Now I'm done NY and already have a mass of cash in Russia from doing jobs and collecting from the first business there. It's made doing the next jobs easier because I can just buy whatever I need.

  23. I got Boss Karpov's Pistol from episode 2 in Moscow, but I didn't even master chapter 1 in episode 2....why is that?

  24. Moscow is really cash drainage,, all the items is so expensive..

    well what about other episode, what we got there, I just finish kill the boss on eps 3, but there's not going anywhere to mastery level 2, what happened?

  25. i go the boss karpovs pistol too and i didnt even complete episode 2 i only mastered lvl 1 of episode 1 and ontop of it i mastered el capitan for cuba and i never got the commando???

  26. i have a problem in moscow, too. did the first three jobs there (incl. "fight off an ultra-national gang") but there is still "master chapter 1 to continue"...no new jobs appear! what is wrong there? bug?

  27. ^ happened on me too. You might want to do the "fight off an ultra-national gang" again to verify if you really completed the job. It said "mastered" on mine but when i tried to do the job again, i got an increase in job mastery.

    Having a problem. I cannot open up chapters 2 onwards in the Episode one for Level 3 mastery even though I have completed all or chapter 1. I have emailed zynga to no avail. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Exactly! that was the problem...was at about 80% mastery and it said "job mastered". So had to spend another hundreds of energy cause the help from others showed very little success ;) ...poor episode...

  33. I'm finished with all the episode 3 jobs (some time ago...) but the final "Fire" Bank President Gregor Belikov - is locked. I know friends that have the same prob. What to do??

  35. Hmm can you post screen shots of every episode completed. Like episode 1, episode 2, I just want to see how they look when they are complete. I notice i'm done with the moscow game but episode 5 and 6 look different they say finale and the first chapters only say master chapter 1 to continue etc
