Next 3 Mafia Wars Expansions Planned; Strategy Guide

As I am sure many of you have seen, the "Fly to Cuba" button has been replaced by a "Travel" button.



So, it looks like we will see Moscow shortly, then Asia, then the Western U.S. I wonder what "coming soon" means? It was many months before Cuba came out after Mafia Wars release - can we really expect to see 3 new expansions to be "coming soon"?

As one poster in the comments section pointed out, if you copy and paste the text from the graphic it turns into a lot more:

New York

Bangkok Coming Soon
Tokyo Coming Soon
Hong Kong Coming Soon
Asia Coming Soon
Western U.S.Coming Soon

Now that makes more sense - I thought it was weird that "Asia" got lumped into one category rather than making distinctions between Yakuza and Triads.

Also, some odds and ends:

Some people have reported their heist (robbing) tab. When I checked this out, mine was gone as well. However, as soon as I clicked on "declare war" it came back. So if you are missing it, you can click on declare war to get it back.. for now. With this whole "New York business" thing, they might just get rid of property (and as a result, heists) altogether!

  1. Looks great, also noticed that the boss fights aren gone... They were a great way to level up after you've not logged on in a while. You could get XP just before the new level and then do a boss fights and thus gaining lots of XP for next level.

    Too bad they deleted it... Now leveling will be a bit slower for me

  3. Boss fights might be gone for newly created players because I still see them with my level 440 character.

  4. lol im level 400+ and have never done a boss fight b4 this might make it easier to fill the experience gap between levels now

  5. I had Bosses in the first three tiers of New York, but havent seen one since.

  6. I still have boss fights at Street Thug, Associate, Soldier, and Enforcer. I'm only at lvl 176.

    Interesting that they'd put what's "on the horizon" out there so early. Maybe Zynga had a brainstorming session and these were the top 3.

  11. It dissapeared a while the boss jobs, it seems it came back. Luckily.

    Maybe it's good for the author to mention this way of utilizing excess energy (after a good night sleep, you have plenty of it anyway). I think I described it clear enough in the first post. :)

  12. i just got 1 godfather point for "playing today"!! it said to remember to log-in tomorrow for a new reward. never seen that before...perhaps a new feature? anyone else see that?

    I had the godfather point for two weeks in a row in August. I got 1 the first day, 2 the second, 3 after that. After 7 days it reseted back to 1. But after two weeks having over 50 extra points was nice.
