Mafia Wars Money Laundering Collection & Boost; Strategy Guide

If you have been unable to see the money laundering collection in Mafia Wars (shows in New York collection screen at the bottom below the lotto), you can access it through the following method:

If after you have cleared your cache you find that you are still having issues please follow these steps.


1- Download the latest flash player if you are not already currently using it. http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=BUIGP


2- Remove the Mafia Wars application. If you do not know how to do this, instructions can be found here.http://zynga.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/280


3- Restart your computer. Log back in to your social network and re-add the Mafia Wars application."



By following either two of these steps, you should be able to see the money laundering collection. To get the money laundering collection, you have to help your friends launder money, which will appear on your status feed.


Vaulting the money laundering collection reduces the bank deposit fee from 10% to 7%. This is not a bad collection, but it's a bit underwhelming; it will only be useful in Cuba. Odds are people still won't be able to steal even 7% of your money from fighting if you have a decent amount of it, so it is better to just keep it in your inventory if you have more than around 50,000,000 (either New York or Moscow) or so.




As a boost, you can get a "Money Sock" which makes each job you do pay out 50% more (pretty weak in my opinion, even if you get 7) considering how many people you are going to have to help to get that many collection pieces in the first place.

  1. Looks like you are no longer allowed to pick your character type. My friend told me he wasn't allowed to when he started a new character today. I just tried it and around level 7 I ended up as a Maniac. I'm guessing in order to get fearless you need to put points into attack/defense/stamina, but not sure exactly how many.

  4. Recently I was promoted to the bodyguard position in a friends mafia even though I started as a Mogul.

    Are they ever going to change the robbing boosts since robbing is no longer in game?

  6. Yeah, I've never gotten to start a job that launders money ... I've only been able to continue other people's laundering jobs. How do you get one started? And how do you get the special laundry loot?

  7. i got the job all of a sudden after helping a couple people launder money. then i got one special loot after i helped a friend launder money today.

  8. i just noticed that boosts dont have effect on special jobs. i have blueprints and raid the docks costs the normal energy amount

  9. i just helped someone launder money. it told me i got some $, but it never credited me. then i tried to help a second person and it told i couldn't launder any more money because the feds were getting suspicious.

    am i doing something wrong here? both not getting any money AND not being able to launder a second time makes me think i'm missing or misunderstanding some proper way to do this.

  14. Has anyone come across the Hollow Points..I have heard mixed things about this bonus..I hear it adds 100 pts to either your Attack or Defense pts or possibly both..

    Unfourtunetly the person that got it was gifted it and has no idea what it takes to get it...Anyone know?

  20. money laundering sucks, so finally i had the option in my main account and in one of my farming accounts, and neither showed the laundering option to the other, do i need to post it as status update on facebook? i alway skip all the 20 fucking million updates mw tries to send.

  21. i have tried countless times top launder money and it seems that i can do it only once a day....after doing it once then it always says that i cannot do it again??? when it first ccame out i laundered and got bonuses but they never registered nor have i ever seen any money hit my account? what the frig is up???? can someone help me please?

  22. It seems that usually you can do it up to five times a day, but once you post it for yourself you CANNOT launder again until the next day!

    The fix?

    When you're going to click on your first "Help So-So Launder..." press [ctrl] and then click on the help link. This will open the link in a new Tab. After the link is opened in a new Tab, click that Tab, and you should see the box that says "Keep The Money Moving." Leave that Tab alone for now. First, go back to the Tab that still has your home page displayed. Scroll down and click on any posts you see for money laundering. When you have done this until you get the "Feds are Getting Suspicious" message, go back to the other tab you opened, click the "Keep the Money Moving" box, and post to your wall.

    Tomorrow, repeat.

  23. The help link that can be posted on my wall is not coming up. Anyone have any idea what might be a problem. Only "Request for help has been sent" comes up on mafia walls. But I need actually link to post on my wall. Another issue i have 3 days ago I helped friend to move the moeny and if I try to help other friends its telling me you helped to many times feds are getting suspeciouse anyway if anyone can help me what the problem will be great.

    Also If I ask for help in boss fights it does not show in my mafia friends wall. They can help me only if I can post on my wall.
