Mafia Wars Public Enemies Loot Event List; Strategy Guide

The Mafia Wars Public Enemies loot event is now live. There are 8 items in the set (you can and will get more than 1 of each item). Since these items randomly drop from jobs and fighting, if you really want to collect to be sure to get all 8, as usual, you can repeat the Mugging job in the Street Thug tier over and over again (since it only costs 1 energy) until you get all 8 pieces.

It appears that the 32 item limit cap just like with the Halloween items is once again active.

Here is the Public Enemies loot list:



Weapons:

Dillinger's Pistols and Holster (36 attack, 18 defense)

Dillinger's Wooden Gun (12 attack, 45 defense)

Agent Purvis' Rifle (44 attack, 29 defense)


Armor:

Fur Coat (12 attack, 28 defense)

"Public Enemy #1" Newspaper (6 attack, 30 defense)

Prison Stripes (15 attack, 24 defense)

Locket of Billie (10 attack, 36 defense)


Vehicles:

V8 (13 attack, 26 defense)


And that's it for the random loot drops. Apparently I was right about the Dillinger's Wooden Pistol.

Along with the loot event, there is a new limited time job, but it is not live at the time of this posting (will update as soon as I can).

  1. You only have 7 listed above, and as of my first drop loop, it said I had 2 of 8. I continued to get the remaining 7, and I was advised I had all 8. I believe the wooden gun is considered a part of the collection, even though I earned it months before...

  6. I also got Dillenger's Gun as well as all of the others doing 750 muggings!
    I got 1 Hoster, 1 Dillenger Gun, 2 Agent Purvis Rifiles, 1 V8, 9 Prison Stripes, 7 Public Enemy Newspapers, 5 Fur Coats, 2 Lockets of Billie for a total of 28 items in 750 muggings!

  9. I had the first post up above-this is a less than decent loot drop. I think maybe they should cut back on these and make it worth everyone's while. One of the only 2 quality drops already existed in the wooden gun. It's suprising that they finally get some mainstream marketing money and for the first time in all of these drop loots, I could care less if I max out my limit.

  19. I'd like to know too - promotions like this though don't really bother me - they make advertising money and the players get new content.. win/win IMO unlike the old surveys and mobile phone scams

  20. Got them all in about 20 mins with about 400 energy with the wooden gun as my final item they should just rase the stats though. Do u have any idea when they might release the limited job though?

  21. Not sure - they originally said same day as loot event but as you can see this is not the case.

    Generally, all game updates occur (except for hotfixes) at Midnight PST - so maybe the job will go live tonight. For most Zynga games, this normally happens on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so if it does not go up at midnight tonight, we might not see it until Tuesday or Thursday.

  25. @ Foolish - I can't remember. I did this once on accident and managed to unblock it by clicking on the "edit options" button at the bottom of the newsfeed.. it seems that application settings aren't available there though anymore.

  26. They're definitely more generous with the loot drops in this event. I've already got 7 out of 8 items (still missing D.'s holster) and I've only played a total of 30 minutes in 3 different sessions.

  34. Still cap to 32, I only have 30 item for last 24 hours mugging and fighting around. The last two was my wooden that i have from previous event.
