The "Help Broker A Minato-Matsumura Peace" job drops the Yakuza-only Scalding Hot Tea (weapon; 26 attack, 35 defense)
The Triad Tier
The "Assassinate The Minato-Kai Family Head" job drops the Triad-only Kage Jet (vehicle; 27 attack, 42 defense).
Conclusion: Don't be fooled by the stats on the Kage Jet; it is the same as an Armored State Car which has little value on the market. Siding with the Triads here costs extra drug shipments for the "Frame An Enemy For The Murder" job, so pick Yakuza.
Chapter 3
The Yakuza Tier
The "Gather More Evidence Of A Betrayal" job drops the Yakuza-only Tanto (weapon; 43 attack, 28 defense). This item is tied with the Ubijca Assault Rifle (from Moscow Episode 5) as the best in slot weapon. Since this job has no consumable requirement, this is a good way to farm $B. Note that the first time through, this job only costs 71 energy; with the lotto collection, farming these items can be quite efficient.
The Triad Tier
The "Spread Distrust Among the Yakuza Families" job drops the Triad-only Optical Camo Suit (armor; 43 attack, 26 defense).
Conclusion: The Optical Camo Suit is garbage; the Shturmovik from Episode 4 of Moscow has 2 more attack points. Pick Yakuza here.

Episode 5A belongs to the Yakuza. Pick them in both Chapter 2 and Chapter 3.

thnx but one question tese items are gd to colect such as the tanto 43 attack for trasding for lotto collections but even better would be the lloyds spectre is it in episode 5B?
Found a bug finishing 5A. My "Top Mafia Bagman" bonus triggered on the Boss job. Says I got a bonus of 1.15mm Baht - obviously a leftover from the Moscow boss jobs. Unfortunately, despite the message, I didn't actually get the bonus.

In episode 3 of Bangkok, in the first chapter, I mastered Yakuza job, but the next time I went to look, both Yakuza and Triad choice jobs were 100%.
Only, I can only click on triad's job and do the other 2 triad jobs below it. HOWEVER When I click it gives an error saying I can't do jobs for the opposing gang...
How can I fix this? Because now I can't gather satelite phones....

If the faction loot can't be traded, is it even viable as an option for maxing out attack and defense? The Yakuza assassin will cost $B 240 million to max out. That's 1,100 days running the businesses (3.5 years) or ~ 51,000 jobs.
when you are allied with both factions, you're shown belonging to faction with higher faction points.
maximal points are 1500 for one and 1499 for the other faction. :)
and well.. drop rates, i dont know, with lotto the drop rates seem to be very good - regarding the low cost of jobs.

It seems like the episode 4/5A/5B loot is untradeable at this point... anyone know whether zynga has commented on whether this would be permanent, or will it release the way level 1-3 loot did?

Can't get more satellite phones because the job to get them is bugged for me...

Why so concerned about getting job help to 5B? Just do the job and get on with it....well, in some way I need to spend my +10K energy.
Bad advice here. Choose Triad for the OCS - a +9 improvement on Guerrila squads for 99% of players. The Tanto is only +1 on TNT/Canonazo so not worth the effort.
anon above me: comparing Guerilla squads with OCS is a tiny bit stupid. you heard about Moscow and those Shturmoviks you can get there, didn't you? Why don't you compare OCS with PJs, the math would sure look most impressive..
The Episode 3 bkok "bug" that others have also reported, is also killing me. My only option seems to be to drop off the Yasuka meter levels back so low that MW thinks of me as Triad... hoping that at some stage the link starts working ... and then re-build my alliance status ... what a bummer :(
what if i chosen the triad job where in i already have chosen the yakuza side? foolish me for clicking the wrong button.. a lil help please.. i cannot finish the job in episode 2.. :D
not really sure if i have the same problem, but in episode 3, chapter 2, level 2...i sided with yakuza and was doing the job extra times to get sat phones, and somehow it switched me to triad. now the jobs are for yakuza, but it shows i am triad (the jobs are for yakuza).. now i can't do any jobs because it says i can't do jobs for the opposing gang.. i'm stuck with nowhere to go. any help from anyone?
hi I cant get do chapter 2 in episode 5a or 5b I have mastered both level 4 in chapter 1 but ther came no futher point. I am allied with yakuza and triads.
This might be a stupid but I just completed first mastery of Episode 4, yet only 5B unlocked. Should be worried 5A is still locked or do I need to complete more levels of master. Any advice GREATLY appreciated.
RE: 5A & 5B:
Episode 5A & 5B are controlled by which faction you choose in Episode 4.
So siding with Yakuza will open 5A.
Next mastery level, siding with Triads opens 5B.
Pain the @rSe about Episode 3. Luckily, (but not so luckily) I have another MW a/c that's sailed past Epi 3. So I can farm the phones and gift them over. Wishlisting it is useless, coz everyone's strapped for SAT phones! I hope this bug is fixable...

As far as I can tell, you gain access to 5A & B based on your loyalty level, not which you chose to master the previous tier in... I have both 5A & B open while I've only mastered Commandant once, my loyalty status for both Yakuza and Triads is Allied.
Currently stumped by that bloody cursed "Can't do jobs for opposing gang!"-glitch, which in fact reset my mastery of the Pirate tier to 1... Good thing I had already unlocked 4, so I could open the rest and even managed to master Commandant once with the SatPhones I had stashed. Now working on Moscow jobs while waiting for lucky Job Loot SatPhones and for Zynga to finally bother to do something about it. =\
And oh yeah, it doesn't matter what my faction alliance is: Even if my Triad loyalty surpasses my Yakuza loyalty, I can't do Triad jobs in tier 3. All I get is that blasted "Can't do..."!!
in all the jobs i helped the Yakuza and now im done with level 5B but 5A remained unlocked unless i gain trust with the Triad which is impossible because all the triad jobs are locked, what can i do?
