More Robbing Details and Information

have
So, earlier today a new post was mentioned containing more information on the upcoming re-implementation of robbing. Here is how it is going to work:

When you click on the "robbing" tab, you will be given access to a "grid" of a few properties, from which you can decide who you want to rob.

Couple of things:

1. For robbing properties, you get experience for a separate leveling bar. Level 10, the top level, earns you the title of Grand Master Thief (hopefully you can use that as your profile name) and an unknown reward item.

2. You can earn robbing collection pieces from robbing.

3. Note that the difficulty level of each property is already calculated for you. So when you decide to rob an easy target, you'll probably win 100% of the time, and if you decide to rob a "Hard" target, you'll probably lose 100% of the time. Turns out you won't need to use your brain with the new feature.

4. Also, note that the stamina cost appears to vary from property to property. In the picture above, robbing a casino appears to cost 20 stamina. This may depend on the level of the property, we will have to find out. It's a nice change either way, as spending a few hundred stamina can be a pain. Hopefully the reward for spending that extra stamina matches the cost.

5. Getting new targets appears to cost stamina (note top left of the picture). So if you can't find anyone to beat on the robbing list, it looks like you'll have to spend some stamina to get a new list.

---

While it's too early to make too many assumptions, I can safely assume that robbing will be stamina intensive (20 stamina for robbing the casino in the pic above, and 6 stamina just to get targets). As a result, I'd recommend stocking up on stamina over the next few days if you plan on doing a lot of robbing. The Rebel 2 chop shop car gives +5 stamina for building - considering making one of those each day until robbing comes out.

SAME WITH ME. It's always proven annoying not having any property beyond rackets, hopefully they are going to be changing us over? I still don't get why we have rackets instead in the first place :(

  8. I have rackets and am able to do the Robbing stuff. I am not sure though that anyone can rob me seeing how I do not have any NY properties...

  12. Same as last anon. Where is the robbing tab supposed to be??

  13. Those of you who can rob already: can only rob in NY and receive NY $ or can you rob properties in other cities as well?? Robbing in Bangkok would be sweet!

  14. Can you rob in all cities or just NY?? I don't have the tab, but would like to know if I actually need to stock up on stamina. I don't care for the NY money anymore.

  15. Yep. My attack/defense stats should be 12272/12450, but suddenly they show as 7176/7116. My opponents stats seem normal, suddenly fighting just got tougher - a lot tougher.

Of course, I'm also distracted re-mastering Dragon Head, while harvesting Lloyd's Spectre's I suddenly got a "continue to Level 5 Mastery" message and found myself back at level 2 mastery. Hopefully I get another mastery piece for my trouble.

  16. Huh, after some fighting, now my stats are overinflated. Instead of the 12272/12450 they're now 12909/13780. Eh, who knows?

  17. i have rackets and i am able to rob. the only thing i dislike about it so far is that if u have extra stamina, ie i woke up and had 89/36. u cant use the bonus stamina. it does not like it at all. at 80/0 and it says u dont have the stamina enough to rob and gives u a link to buy more via rp or points. fail or pass if u clear the grid i got like 250 exp bonus, and some cheap car, but since i cleared the grid(as in just do all the jobs on it) it let me get a new grid for 0 stamina, instead of paying.
also i've had all my rob jobs at 7 stamina. just some require more people to do it with as i'ev seen, and yes u can only rob in new york, under the fight bar, or it says u can go to someones profile and specifically rob them, when u do so it seems to cost cheaper but it doesnt tell u what the difficulty is

20% more cash and items from Robbing

    "Stolen Diamond"
Improve odds of successful robberies by 10%

  22. My main 400 lvl account doesn't have robbing, but my second one that's only lvl 30 has it. Is it an experiment released to only few accounts then? When can we expect everyone to be able to rob?

  23. Hey - I got bumped back to Level 2 on Dragon Head too - also whilst getting those pesky Lloyd's Spectres!! Oh well, get some extra skill points I guess :-) Glass half full....

  24. I have noticed that the robbing board has nine squares. If you do all the hard ones and run out of stamina, when you come back later, the types change. The easy ones I left for later are now hard ones. Maybe you should plan to have enough stamina to do all nine at one time.

  25. Just a note -- I have 35 accounts. About half of them have rackets and have have properties. Only 8 of them have robbing, 4 with properties and 4 with rackets. So, conclusions:

    * Only about 1/5 of people have robbing activated.
    * It doesn't matter whether you have rackets, if you are part of that 1/5 it's available to you.

  26. You attack with different numbers of mafia when you rob so your attack will be different each time, you haven't "lost" any. *roles eyes*

    ReplyDelete
  27. The grid is pretty simple - just rob them all regardless of difficulty - win/lose doesn't really matter - it's only in NY so the money doesn't mean a thing ...clear the grid, level up & get the bonus. Once the grid is clear you can get a new one for free - so don't bother using GF pts to get a new grid.
I didn't realize that you could target specific people to rob - thanks for the info! :)

  28. i just noticed that the heist counter on the profile page has reset upon the robbing rollout. i wonder if my safecracker will keep the 15%...

  29. off topic but im lvl 412 and my defense stat is 280 is it good for my lvl coz i seem to lose almost everyfight wen someone attacks me and my mafia is 501 and mafia defense 48000(52000 b4 the new bug dropped my stats dramatically )also i have the hyper alert sentry guard

  30. last anon. at level 412 your defense should be at least 800 if you want to win some of the fights where you get attacked
