Challenge Mission London Chapter 3: Family Jewels

Chapter 3 of Challenge Mission London is now live in game. Entitled "Family Jewels" this is the final episode with the best reward for completing it (Nightowl Helicopter - 107 attack, 55 defense).

Job Mastery & Passport Cost:

Break Into The Tower Of London: 3 (for green Heat Meter), 4 (yellow), 5 (red) passports and 9% mastery per attempt

Knock Out A Beefeater: 4/5/6 passports and 8% mastery per attempt

Swap In A Replica Of The Diamond: 5/6/7 passports and 5% mastery per attempt

Smuggle The Real Diamond To Mumbai: 6/7/8 passports and 4% mastery per attempt

The jobs in this episode are exactly like previous episodes in the way the Job heat meter works and the mastery %s for completing each job.

The only difference with Chapter 3 of Challenge Mission London is that each job requires more passports. You will need 95 more British Passports than you did in Chapter 2 to complete this new chapter.

You will start out with 100 passports for adding 2 people to your mafia and you can collect 50 passports now every 24 hours. It still should not be too hard if you are collecting the passports regularly.

  1. done.
i have to spent around 10k energy and about 400 passports to finish it in one shot

  2. Any word on the nature of "Fix the World Cup" limited time event?

Gosh I hope it's not another limited time job like London. It's enough to spend energy on London while trying to finish Bangkok - I don't need another energy drain right now!

  3. Can we agree on that theese "limited jobs" are pretty boring (simply because they're easy). I find it hard to belive that anyone has any problems what so ever to finish of london (or paris). Speed upp the development of vegas instead of wasting time in limited events.

  4. i agree that these "bonus" events are lame and a waste of time. why zynga finds it necessary to pile on all the events within a week (double mastery/double loot fight/london/new bangkok/new fight loot/new robbing developments/7-11/global cup) it can all get overwhelming. first of all, it's a social game, and london/paris is dumb enough when it requires a user to login every several hours just to finish the jobs and get the loot. a lot of people don't have that kind of free time to log in and complete, making it a disadvantage of loot items and mafia strength. the double mastery was nice, but when u have to use energy to get these time-sensitive london jobs, who can really take advantage of the double mastery unless you're an energy drone? i really wish zynga would think things through before implementing things.

    You said it all...

  6. I for one am a very avid MW player, and yet I never finished the Paris job (to my immense annoyance). I just didn't have time to log in at standard intervals; that plus an admittedly poor plan for using the heist items, and I fell short of completing all the tasks. This time around I'm literally planning my day so that I am near a computer when the time comes to collect passport and complete the game... but that's not really doable for a lot of people.

  7. I also failed to complete Paris. I was busy doing home renovations for 10 days of that time. I didn't realize that there was only one week to complete chapter 3.

  8. I don't see them as such a bad thing. If you are consistent with rewards like a 107 atk vehicle, older players get a nice advantage over those that are not consistent. We will find out what the world cup is soon enough.. probably like a holiday event I'm guessing.

  9. Also failed Paris, I had the last job unlocked and another day would have completed the series for me.

Almost finished London because I planned out more, but really, it's the London passports are way more easier to get than the original Paris maps.

  10. I missed logging on to London for 7 days, is there any chance I can finish it in time?

  11. Actually the reason they have all these jobs IS to make it difficult so that you will spend real money on reward points to get through them all. That's their business model after all.

  12. Why are a number of the names listed in the fight queue shaded?

  13. Fix the Global Cup is active now. It's kind of like the St. Patrick's Day event where there are 3 jobs with different timers, and presumably each drops a different item that needs to be vaulted. Ho hum.

  14. no korean or US soccer balls to collect..wow..
You think Zynga is saying something?

  15. Shaded fight names are iced players. For once a useful improvement.

  16. Global Cup is exactly like the holiday-event events, with 3 jobs and different percentage completions. Vaulting the collection is similar, 2 items are obtained from normal jobs, 2 items are obtained from the Global Cup jobs, 2 items are obtained from fighting, and 1 is from gifting. Two new giftable loots are also available.

On another note, on the fight page, it appears to tell you which mafia members have been iced or not (but all are still fightable). I guess this allows us to screen out which mafia not to attack if we want to win money off them.

  17. I can't believe that people are whining about getting 12 free skill points which is far more valuable than the amazing loot. The mini-cities and other events are a pretty nice way to pass the time.

I am thinking that Vegas is going to be a radical departure from the other cities, so I am not surprised that development has been delayed.

  18. Concerning the country included in the 'Fix the Cup' event, consider that there's a total of 32 country but only 7 are shown. So not only USA is not there, but no african country either, not even South Africa ! I think the choice is for the favorites, the 'most likely to win' or the most 'past winner'...

  19. I think the biggest point to London is to try to get us to grow our Mafia size... and I'll admit, the trick worked on me. Of course since I haven't invested the time in getting 501+ mafia, it works in my favor anyway.

Also, when I finished Paris (barely!) we got an Achievement... it's a shame that London doesn't have the same thing.

  20. I completed the London jobs and did not even get the last reward...great software here...will soon retire from this game..

  21. Didn't have time to finish Paris - I do have a real life. Thought I would finish London but there's only 8 hours left & 23 hours until I get more passports. I've tried doing jobs & robbing. Got a few more but not enough to finish. Oh well.

  22. Regarding the shaded names on the fights page they are players who have left the Bangkok. You are still able to fight them, but it doesn't effect our reputation.

Anybody know what actually happens if you max out the heat meter?

  23. Finished London, just find it really disappointing that there was no achievement for it like Paris...
